Startec is proud to announce that its Capture C2T safety device, designed for automatic sliding door operation, has officially obtained the CE Type Examination Certificate in accordance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC – Annex IX.

The certificate, issued by the Notified Body Elettra S.r.l. (ID number 2321), follows a rigorous evaluation process involving technical documentation and laboratory testing. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Startec’s continuous pursuit of technological excellence and quality assurance.

Why this certification matters

The Capture C2T falls under Annex IV, point 19 of the directive, which includes protective devices designed to detect the presence of persons. Obtaining the CE Type Certificate is a crucial requirement for market access in Europe and serves as a guarantee of compliance with the highest safety and health standards.

This certification allows Startec to use the tested sample as a reference for issuing declarations of conformity for all identical products, streamlining installation and integration processes for clients, partners, and system integrators.
